Visit this Swiss restaurant in Moscow, and have some great fondue!

Have you ever tasted fondue in Swiss restaurant?

Whatever your answer may be, you should definitely visit "Syrnaia Dyrka"!

In fact, there are 2 of these restaurants. One offers Swiss and the other offers French cuisine. And both of them specialize on cheese.

The atmosphere is warm and relaxing

When I look at the menu, private Bubba from "Forrest Gump" pops in my head. He was obsessed with shrimps, and as he once put it-"...shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it and saute it!"

Well, while Bubba knew all about shrimps, these restaurants know all about cheese. They barbecue it,boil it,broil it,bake it,saute it, and god knows what else!

Order over a dozen sorts of cheese (and of course, they differ in each restaurant)!

Have a Cheese Plate - several sorts of cheese served with honey and grapes.

The French restaurant even offers you a Grand Cheese Plate, with 15 sorts of cheese, fruits, honey, nuts and confiture!

Wow!

Another option is to order a fondue for two, and have a delicious evening!

Spend a romantic evening in private with that special someone!

Cheese or no cheese-there are many other dishes that you have got to try!

Just look what the French restaurant has got to offer - Sea trout fillet, beef medallions, onion soup, foie gras, and even wild quail!

Don't forget the desserts-nougat macaroni, ice cream and marvellous creme brulee!

And here is what the Swiss restaurant offers - cheese soup, cheese salad, cheese pie, potato soup with sausage, meat fondue, and more. Much more!

Enjoy the decor.

I'll have to visit the restaurant once I'm done with the article. The memories of tastes and smells are just too much to bear!

Here are the contacts:

The French restaurant's address is 32, Bolshaya Dmitrovka st., buildings 4-9.

Phone: +7 (495) 650-1007.

It's best to get there from Chekhovskaya metro station. There, you walk on Strastnoi bulvar in the direction of Petrovka st., and you turn right on Bolshaya Dmitrovka. Pass some hundred meters, and on the left you will see an arch in the building. There is a sign of the restaurant pointing into that arch. It's in Russian, but you'll know.Once you pass the archway, turn right and from there you'll see the restaurant entrance.

The Swiss restaurant is located on Pokrovskiy Bulvar, 6/20.

Phone: +7 (495) 917-1676

It's not as tricky to find as French restaurant. Just get out on Turgenevskaya metro station, and get all the way down by Pokrovskyi bulvar until you see the restaurant on the right.

Alternatively, you can go to Kitay gorod metro station, walk by Maroseika, then Pokrovka, turn right to Pokrovskyi bulvar, et voila!

Have a great time!
