This way, you'll save at least couple of hours a day by avoiding traffic jams, which is great both if you're a tourist or a business traveler.

Golden Ring is also overlooking the tremendous Ministry of Foreign Affairs building - a landmark by itself, the remnant of Stalin era and an Orwellian sight.

That's a great place to start getting acquainted with Moscow, and the best thing is that is sits just around the corner! Just take your camera, go out, cross the road - and there you go!
But, as they say in commercials - "wait, that's not all"! The gothic MFA building sits right by another Moscow's little legend, probably the most famous Russian street in the world.
When you're near the MFA, turn left, walk some 100 meters and dive into the magical world of Arbat - the haven of free artisans and street performers. Looking for Matrioshka dolls? Look no further, because Arbat IS the place!

They loved the service and the rates so much they didn't even want to hear about other options. They literally wanted to stay in "Golden Ring" every time they came - and I'm not exaggerating even a bit!
Although I don't think Golden Ring is the only good hotel in Moscow, I surely understand their persistence. After all, this hotel is a true leader when it comes to price vs. quality, and they didn't see any reason to choose another.
