Cosmos Hotel Moscow
Cosmos Hotel Moscow, a huge, 25-stories building, is ideal when you're looking for Moscow hotel with decent rates and a good view to gaze at after you've had a busy day.
Everything you need is within your reach - restaurants, bars, cafes and even a casino!
Wow, this place has surely got a lot to offer, and it alone can keep you busy during your entire stay - although I recommend you do stick a nose out once in a while
...and if you do, you surely won't be disappointed, as some of the Moscow's top landmarks are right nearby!
What is it gonna be - VDNH, Ostankino Tower, or, perhaps, Sheremetyev estate? You're the boss!
OK, let's see what this huge hotel has to offer!
First of all, Cosmos Hotel Moscow is located right next to Mira Avenue, or Prospect Mira. To you, it means you can get to the city center in half an hour (if there is no traffic jams).
It may not sound like much in Europe or US, but in Moscow location is everything - book a remote hotel, and you're going to spend most of your trip crawling at 5 km/h. Not cool!
If you wish to go outside of city's limits, you can easily do it as well. The Moscow Ring Road, MKAD, is some twenty minutes away - no problems getting there, too.
Once the city's left behind - the entire Moscow region is right in front of you. Plus, you can bypass the jams by going around Moscow - it works very well if the timing's right.
Sick of cars? Cosmos Hotel is just 10 minutes away from the metro station "VDNkH" (pronounced "Ve-De-En-Kha"). And I mean 10 minutes by feet!

It means you can get to places like Red Square in less than thirty minutes. Rush hour or not - Moscow metro doesn't care about traffic jams, the only problem is it gets quite crowded.
If you've decided to go underground - don't forget the amazing artwork of Moscow subway - it's a shame to miss, yet very easy to!
Oh, but I forgot about other landmarks!
The All-Russia Exhibition Center ("VVTS" or "VDNH") sits just across. Imagine a huge, huge territory, covered with Soviet-style, picturesque buildings, monuments, flowerbeds and fountains.
...there's even a space rocket there, for God's sake!
It's sort of Communism retreat, the ruins of an Empire. From what I know, North Korea looks very similar to that, but on "VVTS" you won't get shot for buying (or selling) things - and there are plenty of things to buy!
Computers, refrigerators, drugs and even medical equipment are sold here for more than decent prices. Speaking of drugs - if there's something rare you need - no better place to look than here, specifically in pavillon "Zdorovye" - "Health".

Each girl represents a former USSR republic.
In addition, you can visit the famous Ostankino TV tower - it's just about couple of kilometers away, you'll even see it from your room provided it's on the right side!
If you get there, you'll have the unique chance to see the entire city from 350 meters above the ground - you'll basically observe the entire Moscow. Trust me, the experience is unforgettable!
A couple of words about the hotel
The hotel offers two types of rooms - standard and renovated. Both are good, but renovated rooms have better furniture - and thus cost a little more.
If you're used to travel with style - you can order Deluxe or Grand suite. They cost much more and offer a higher level of comfort.
Still not good enough? Order an apartment, and pretend you're an oil sheikh for awhile
The exact rates, room types and availability change almost daily, and thats why I recommend you to find out all the latest information about Cosmos hotel Moscow right here. An excellent site, I must say - and it gives you the cheapest rates there are!

Check what's on from time to time - you might just want to visit some of the shows!
... there's another reason for Cosmos to be proud of itself. After all, the famous Russian blockbuster "Day Watch" (from the director of "Wanted") was filmed right there!
Cosmos Hotel Moscow is a great choice. It's cheap, it sits in a good place, and it offers you a magnificent view of the city.
Bring home a photo of this breathtaking building, and your friends will surely be stunned!
